Susan Marie Willis passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always had a smile and an encouraging word for those she loved.
Born on December 22, 1949, in Savannah, Georgia, a city that she loved as a place that held her familial roots and many cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. George Lawton Youmans, Lieutenant General and Mrs. Patrick Seawright and her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Lawton Youmans, Jr.
She is survived by her sons Kerry Willis, Greg Willis, Glen Willis, and Rob Willis, her siblings Billy Youmans, Carl Youmans, Bobby Youmans, and Carolyn Thompson, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on December 21, 2025 at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Chapel at 7200 Hodgson Memorial Drive with family receiving guests from 12:30-2:00 PM and a service to begin at 2:00 PM.
As one of the Seawright grandchildren & just 3 months older than my cousin, Susan, we shared many fond memories growing up. She was so good natured & her life positively touched anyone she met.
